LEVELS OF THE PROGRAM

Bahasa Indonesia tingkat Pemula (A1 Level)

This level is designed to those who do not have or have only basic knowledge of Indonesian language. Participants will learn how to understand sentences in listening and reading as well as make simple enquiries in speaking and writing, to give instruction built on their basic Indonesian language knowledge and to increase vocabularies.

Bahasa Indonesia tingkat Menengah (A2 Level)

This level aims at those who already have mastered A1 Level of Indonesian language. Participants will learn how to express themselves adequately in familiar everyday situations, to read and to understand simple Indonesian texts. Topics covered in this level include those that have been discussed in A1 Level with more complex utterances. After finishing this level, participants should be able to express and discuss the topics on familiar matters encountered in daily life based on prepared materials.

Bahasa Indonesia tingkat Menengah Lanjut (B Level)

This level is targeted those who have ability in A2 Level of Indonesian language. Participants will learn to express themselves clearly both in speaking and writing about some topics such as economy, politics, social and culture adjusted with their Indonesian language ability.

At the end of this level, participants are expected to be able to understand longer Indonesian texts, recognize the implicit meaning, express themselves fluently by using flexibly and effectively language for social and professional purposes, produce clear sentences, well-structured and detailed texts on complex subjects,  summarize information from different spoken and written sources, reconstruct arguments and account in a coherent presentation.
